Terms of service
Last updated: 1 August 2026
These Terms of Service govern access to the MitoSyne website and the products, information, content and services made available through it. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked from the website.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction to place an order. You are responsible for the accuracy of information submitted through the website and for keeping account credentials secure. We may refuse or cancel activity that appears fraudulent, unlawful or harmful to the website or another person.
2. Products and health information
Product pages and labels provide the controlling product-specific information, including ingredients, amounts, directions and warnings. Website and Journal content is general educational information. It is not a diagnosis, prescription, treatment recommendation or substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional who knows your circumstances.
3. Orders and acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An order is accepted only when Shopify confirms acceptance on behalf of MitoSyne. We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance where a product is unavailable, payment cannot be authorized, delivery information cannot be verified or the order appears to result from an error or prohibited activity. If payment has already been collected for a cancelled order, it will be returned through the original payment method.
4. Prices and payment
Prices, currency, available payment methods, shipping charges and applicable taxes are shown during checkout. Prices and availability may change before an order is accepted. We may correct an obvious pricing or product-information error and will not knowingly fulfil an order at an unintended price.
5. Shipping, returns and refunds
Shipping is governed by the Shipping Policy. Returns, cancellations and refunds are governed by the Refund Policy. Those policies form part of these Terms and do not limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
6. Acceptable use
You may use the website only for lawful purposes. You must not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, misuse forms, introduce malicious code, scrape the website in a way that disrupts service, infringe another person's rights or use MitoSyne content to misrepresent the brand, its products or its work.
7. Intellectual property
The MitoSyne name, wordmark, original text, graphics, page design, diagrams and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Short portions may be quoted for commentary or reference with clear attribution. Substantial reproduction, removal of attribution, misleading derivatives or commercial use of brand assets requires written permission.
8. Third-party services and links
The website uses Shopify and may link to journals, regulators, standards bodies, payment services, carriers or other third parties. Those services and resources are controlled by their respective operators. A link is provided for context and does not by itself endorse every statement, service or policy on the external site.
9. Accuracy, availability and changes
MitoSyne aims to keep published information clear and current, but evidence, regulation, pricing, availability and operating details may change. Content may be corrected, expanded, withdrawn or replaced. We may change, suspend or withdraw part of the website for maintenance, security, legal or operational reasons.
10. Privacy
Use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy and the privacy controls made available through the store. Do not submit sensitive medical information through general contact or newsletter forms.
11. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its general informational content are provided without a guarantee that they will be complete, continuously available, error-free or suitable for a particular personal decision. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, MitoSyne is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from reliance on general website content, inability to access the website or third-party resources. This section does not limit liability where limitation is prohibited by law.
13. Termination
We may suspend or end access to the website where a person materially breaches these Terms, threatens security or uses the services unlawfully. Provisions that are intended by their nature to survive termination remain effective.
14. Severability
If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
15. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated when the website, products, legal requirements or available services change. The updated version applies from the date shown at the top of the policy unless applicable law requires a different form of notice.
16. Contact
